During ATL’s European tour with The Audition me and my two friends went to one of their concerts in Germany and met them and they were really nice, so we decided to drive to Amsterdam a few days later to see their show there as well, even though we didn’t have tickets. Long story short, ATL, TA and even some of the crew guys remembered us from the show in Germany and offered to put us on the guestlist, when they found out we didn’t have tickets. Afterwards we hung out with all of them for a really long time and Matt let us stay, even though he was telling all the other people to leave. I talked to Alex for quite a while and this piece of dialouge I will never forget:
(I was kind of smelling alex to see if he smelled as good as Jack.)
Alex: “-looks up- What? Do I stink?”
Friend: “No, you don’t really smell like anything.”
Me: “You smell neutral.”
Alex: “-laughs- I smell neutral?!”
Me: “Yeah, you smell like nothing… Nothing Personal.”
Alex: “Oooohhhh!”
Me: “Oooohhhh… see what I did there?”
Alex: “…No.”
After this he was trying to take a picture with another girl, but was still laughing about what I said and ended up really worried, that the picture turned out crappy. Haha.
We also gave them a cake and this was Alex’ reaction…
Me: “So, are you gonna eat it?”
Alex: “I’m gonna fuck it.”
Me: “…Are you gonna fuck it and then eat it?”
Alex: “No, I’m just gonna fuck it.”

I can’t talk to the ATL dudes, expecially Alex, cos I put my foot in my mouth.  One time Alex was telling a joke to my friend and I didn’t get it and said something lame (I don’t remember what) and he just glared at me.

i met them twice…. first time i was like ‘omg i’mma forget my words and my name and it’s gonna come out like “BLARG BLARG BLARG SHOOOOOOEEEE!” but it was awesome alex came over and we hugged he signed my drum head and went away… i talked to rian and he was a sweetie… talked to zack he was awesome when it came time to talk to jack i was like “heyy” he was like “OHHAI!!!” and we talked about their past expeiriences in toronto it was cool

second time jack and i were talking.. his sharpie ran out so i offered him mine i was like.. “dude i have an extra sharpie” he was like what? i was like “SHARRRPPIIEEE SHARPIIE!!!” and he was like say sharpie again i’ll kick your ass and started laughing i laughed too and i screamed “SHARRRRPPPPIIIIEEE!” really loud he started howling and i was like ”YEAH BRING IT BARAKAT!” and we laughed.. he’s sweet… and alex didn’t get a chance to talk to me so he blew me a kiss and stuck up the piece sign my way!

I met Alex in January of 08 on the Man Whores and Open Sores tour. I always heard stories of him being a douche, but he wasn’t to me. At all. In fact when I met him I was too scared to even talk, I just said “can I get a picture” and after that, I walked away. As I was walking away he yelled to me “GIRL! IN THE BLUE HOODIE!” and I turned around and I was like “Me?” and Alex smiled and was like “Yeah!, thanks for coming out and supporting us” and flashed his little grin (: ahhh, I can’t wait to meet him again and actually talk.

This year at Warped tour I was lucky enough to get a pass to meet ATL at a signing. I was really excited because It was my first time meeting them. When I got up to Jack he smiled and signed my ipod. Then he realized the color of his sharpie was the same as my ipod so he was like “oh crap! does anyone have a black sharpie?” and no one said anything so he went in the back room of the tent just for me and got a black sharpie to sign my ipod. He even felt bad and said “sorry It took so long, I wanted to make sure it got signed!” I just thought that was really sweet so I wanted to share it (:
